Campus Libs TRIGGERED by Plastic Wrap “Hate Crime”

These days, American universities have become mere shadows of what they once were.

College students, who once championed free speech, discussion, and new experiences, have now become known for being coddled and easily offended.

In yet another case of college snowflakes being triggered by absolutely nothing, the University of Maryland is dealing with an alleged “hate crime” which came in the form of a piece of plastic wrap.

It seems that a piece of plastic tied into a “noose” shape, and discarded as garbage, was enough to send one student into an epic fit of liberal butt-hurt, launching a police investigation.

Twitter users reacted to the “hate crime” as expected, with mockery and disgust.

The environment on campuses in modern America has turned into a repressive “nanny state” atmosphere, with students behaving more like elementary children than young adults.

From The Blaze

University of Maryland police said a knotted piece of plastic wrap spotted on the ground was reported to the department as a “possible hate-bias” incident Tuesday.

An officer met with two people who saw the plastic wrap while walking, but police said a preliminary investigation found that the material is used to contain and protect loose items during transport. But police added that “out of an abundance of caution” they’re looking into the matter and reviewing the cameras in the area.

While police didn’t indicate the shape of the plastic wrap, the Diamondback — a UM student newspaper — called attention to tweets allegedly about the found item.

Another Twitter user noted, “I’m sick and tired of all these f***ing nooses.”

“They didn’t even try to entertain me and my friend by acknowledging the possibility that this was a symbol of hate,” another Twitter user said, the paper reported, in a since-deleted tweet. “They were very adamant.”

The incident comes after a noose was found in a campus fraternity house April 27, which the Diamondback said is under investigation as a hate-bias incident. White nationalist posters also been found on campus in at least five reported instances since December, the paper reported.

Campus police didn’t immediately respond to TheBlaze’s request for further information or updates, but others on Twitter had quite a bit to say in response to the above photo of plastic wrap resembling a noose.
